The Fielder Group Inc.,  began in 1979. The President, Barbara Fielder is widely recognized as a training and HR consultant who can quickly assess the issues and develop sound solutions. She is the author of I'm Communicating but...am I being heard?, Motivation in the Workplace and Smart & Painless Training Solutions.  As well as, five children's books.  Barbara’s dynamic speaking style, empathetic coaching, and more than 28 years of human resources, leadership, and training experience turns opportunity into results. She is a much sought-after thought leader.

Barbara and her consulting team provide a rich resource for clients. They train, coach, and consult with a constant eye on the results you want.  If you seek improved communication in your workplace, Barbara will train your staff in how to make sure that their words, tone and body language all send the same message. She provides up to 50 important ideas on how you can communicate and be understood in her book, I'm Communicating, but...am I being heard?  If you seek to increase motivation in your workplace, Barbara will help your team identify, foster and implement motivation strategies and behaviors, noted in her book Motivation in the Workplace.

The president is well known for her ability to develop effective training and coaching programs for domestic and international companies.  She specializes in informational, motivational, and inspirational programs.  She is an acknowledged expert in the areas of human resources, leadership, supervision, communication, creativity, and change. 

Barbara earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with distinction, from the University of Redlands and her  Masters in Human Resources from Kennedy-Western University.  She was recently honored with recognition in Cambridge Whos Who, Strathmore’s Who's Who Registry of Business Leaders and International Who's Who of Entrepreneurs.  Barbara has served on the extension faculties of the University of California at Irvine, Riverside and Davis; Long Beach Community College; and Loyola Marymount University.

In 1993 Barbara established the publishing arm of the business when she self-published her first book, I'm Communicating, but...am I being heard?

In 2014 Barbara began creating her exciting and unique Zentangle art that is showcased at Studio B exhibits and select events.

Who is Elizabeth L. Doran?

• She grew up during the Great Depression and has vivid memories of a simpler life. 
  
• Her memories of the depression and WWII plus her heart felt pride and patriotism inspired her to write about the unsung heroes who brought victory to a free world. 
  
• In her book, she gives the reader a direct experience of the war through the eyes and ears of the fictional heroic naval pilot, Paul Winston, Jr.
